Since 1995, the heart of downtown Lake Orion has come alive with twinkling lights, holiday cheer, and the joyful sounds of the season. Every first Saturday in December, families and friends gather for the Orion Lighted Christmas Parade - a tradition that has been lighting up our village for 30 wonderful years!

This year, we’re aiming higher than ever with a glowing goal of 30,000 lights to honor 30 years of parade magic. 🌟 There’s no set theme - just one big invitation to light it up! 

With more than 75 dazzling entries each year - featuring civic groups, dance studios, scout troops, local leaders, marching bands, school groups, and so much more - the parade is a true showcase of community spirit. And of course, the grand finale never fails to delight: a very special visit from Santa Claus himself, spreading holiday magic to young and old alike.
